Realtors relish on Navratras

Cashing in on the ongoing Navratras considered auspicious for property deals, real estate developers including DLF, Parsvnath, BPTP and Emaar-MGF have announced over a dozen residential projects in and around Delhi. The DLF seems to have made the most of the festive season as it sold its entire project of the second phase of Capital Greens of 1,356 apartments built in West Delhi in an hour of its launching. During April this year, the company had sold about 1,350 apartments launched in the first phase of the same project in a single day, claimed the Managing Director, T C Goyal.
Similarly the Emaar MGF, a Delhi based developer launched Emerald Floors Premier this week after it sold off Emerald Floors Estate in the Emerald Hills integrated gated community project in Gurgaon. The company also launched plots, villas and floors at Jaipur Greens around the same time and has already sold about 120 plots in the pink city. Likewise, the Parsvnath Developer launched Parsvnath City at Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh this week.
Mumbai also witnessed the launch of scores of new luxury housing projects in south and central parts of the metropolitan city by companies like Indiabulls Real Estate and Orbit Corporation during the on going festivities. Almost everyday the consultants are coming across over a dozen projects being launched across the country. Last year most of them were selling their old projects due to downturn, but this time particularly during Navratras all the developers have stepped up their activities, said chief executive, Raminder Grover of Homebay Residential unit of property consultancy Jones Lang LaSalle Meghraj.
